Special General Meeting to be held on 1 September 2022
There is a need to make changes to the Club Constitution and Bylaws to comply with the revised Code of Practice for conditional registration. Therefore, we need to call a Special General Meeting for this purpose.
Notice is hereby given of a Special General Meeting of the Club be held at the clubrooms, 17 Shueard Road, Cobdogla at 7.30pm on 1st September 2022 for the purpose of changes to the Club Constitution and Bylaws.
This meeting to then be followed by the Club’s regular monthly General Meeting.
Proposed Change to the Constitution.
Clause 3 DEFINITIONS
Clause 3(a) be replaced by “A Historic Vehicle” is one as defined in the Government of South Australia “Code of Practice – Conditional Registration Scheme for Historic, Left-Hand Drive and Street Rod Vehicles“, and as categorised in Bylaw 4.
Proposed Change to the Bylaws
Bylaw 4 CLUB REGISTRATION
Remove “effective 1 July, 2017“
The above changes will alleviate the need to change the club Constitution and Bylaws, if and when, changes are made to the Code of Practice in the future that may then be in conflict with wording in our club Constitution and Bylaws.
