With the clocks going back over night, it was quite a surprise that ten riders arrived on time at Berri for our monthly ride!
Amongst the regulars, it was good to see our “senior” member Merv arriving on his Cagiva 125 racer! (photo). Other bikes of interest were Neville Schubert’s 74 Yamaha TX 650 and the normal collection of Royal Enfields!
Chris arrived on his lovely 59 Velocette Venom (photo) which when running emits a fabulous Bass exhaust note which can be heard for miles!
The route chosen was to Barmera, with a lap of the Lake then on via Moorook to Loxton.
We were then treated to a visit with Neville leading the way to his enormous shed!
Neville is clearly a man of good taste, we concluded, as we enjoyed his British collection, which included an MGB, an Austin Healy Sprite, and two early 500 Norton twins!
Very nice! We all thanked Neville for his hospitality and headed for home after a great day out!
