Tiddler’s Run held on 2 October 2022
For a long weekend the weather couldn’t have been better!
Sunny and warm, perfect for our annual Tiddlers Run!
It was great to see a few old British bikes ready for the off and finally we had an old car arrive with Malcolm and Kathleen driving their 49 Austin Ute.
Leaving Berri we took the usual Tiddlers route, heading down into Winkie with six old bikes enjoying the quiet road! The Austin followed, providing a reassuring presence for the bikes should one faulter!
The course took us past Loveday and after crossing the Sturt Highway we enjoyed a leisurely lap of the lake before parking at “The Lakes” for a coffee stop.
All machines behaved impeccably, and the members then had to calculate the combined age of rider and machine!
After some number crunching Chris was declared bike winner, totaling 139yrs with his lovely Royal Enfield S250.
Our one and only car winner with 150 years was Malcolm and his mighty 1949 Austin.
