Held 13th to 15th October
On Friday 13th October 19 members of the RVCCC travelled to Murray Bridge.
We registered at their Club rooms and had a cuppa and cakes.
A two-course meal consisting of a casserole and dessert was served for dinner and was enjoyed by all.
On Saturday morning at 8.00am we left on a mystery trip of around 200kms (return), initially heading south to Goolwa.
What a surprise! We were told we would be travelling on the Cockle Train to Victor Harbor followed by a Brunch at the Grosvenor Hotel.
We had time to check out the “Opp Shops”, some looking for red items of clothing as this was the dress colour for the evening meal at the Murray Bridge RSL Club.
They had a singer/entertainer who was exceptional and enjoyed by all the visitors.
There were a lot of raffle prises won by our excited members on the night.
On the Sunday morning breakfast was at the Club rooms again and the announcement of prizes winners was well received.
We departed Murray Bridge returning to the Riverland with a lot of good memories, and no dramas.
