The Loxton Mardi Gras celebrated 66 years, with this year’s theme being “Harvest”.
The whole event was on #2 Oval, as has been the previous two years. Most cars were there by 9.30am, which gave everyone time for a coffee and be able to wander the Market Stalls.
There were 19 cars in the Parade, which was down on previous years. There was light drizzle while the Parade was on, but that didn’t deter the enthusiasm of the participants. There were announcers at three different locations, which gave a well-informed coverage. Thanks to Graham T for printing the Running Sheets.
Thanks to the Loxton Mardi Gras Committee who continually work hard to make this event successful. Lastly, a big thank you to those who joined the Parade and allowed their vehicles to be displayed.
